This is a hand-built 1988 pack lot pulled straight from my Junk Wax Journey inventory — one pack from everything produced for that year.
What’s in the lot (10 packs)
1x Topps (flagship) - The main release of the year. Clean set, tons of cards, pure late-80s feel.
2x Topps Mini League Leaders - Small cards celebrating the stat leaders of the previous year. Kind of odd, kind of great.
2x Topps American (UK release) - A unique European release with different card stock and distribution. Harder to find and a must-have for niche collectors
1x each Topps Big (Series 1 / 2 / 3 ) - Oversized, great photos. Honestly one of the most enjoyable rips from this era.
1x Score - Score exploded onto the scene with a modern design and huge checklist. A true Junk Wax staple.
1x Donruss - Clean borders, classic look, and home to some underrated rookie cards.
2x Donruss Pop-Up All-Stars - One of the coolest gimmick inserts of the era — literal pop-up cards. Peak 80s innovation.
1x Fleer - Bright, clean design with strong photography. A core set from the era and a must-have in any 1988 rip.
1x Fleer Star Stickers - Underrated and often overlooked. Sticker format with bold colors — classic late-80s collectible feel.
1x Leaf - Lower print run than Donruss and tougher pulls. A sleeper for grading and condition rarity.
1x O-Pee-Chee - The Canadian Topps counterpart — rougher cuts, tougher condition, and serious collector appeal.
